The manga is a new short story for Kotoyama's Call of the Night (Yofukashi no Uta) manga. The manga launched in Weekly Shonen Sunday on July 2.Viz Media licensed the Call of the Night manga, and describes the manga:Kotoyama (Dagashi Kashi) launched the Call of the Night manga in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in August 2019. The manga ended in January 2024. Shogakukan published the manga's 20th and final compiled book volume in March 2024.The first season of the manga's anime adaptation premiered in July 2022. HIDIVE streamed the anime with English subtitles as it aired in Japan. HIDIVE also debuted an English dub in September 2022.The anime's second season premiered on July 4, and is currently airing.
