Cuti Akhir Persekolahan 2026: What Parents Need to Know

The Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM) publishes the academic calendar to help families plan their year-end activities. This guide provides details on the holiday period scheduled for the conclusion of the academic session.

Understanding the Holiday Period

The Cuti Akhir Persekolahan marks the transition between academic sessions. This break is intended for students and teachers after completing the full academic year. It typically falls in the final month of the calendar year, providing a concluding period for rest before the new academic cycle begins.

Families can use this time for rest or travel, but it is important to align personal plans with the general guidance provided by the ministry. Please refer to the official KPM portal for the complete academic calendar to ensure you have the full schedule for your specific state, as schedules can occasionally vary.

Preparation and Planning

When planning for the year-end break, ensure your travel arrangements are flexible. It is generally advisable to keep your personal records and school-related documentation organized well in advance of the academic year's end.

Always verify the latest updates directly from the official Ministry of Education website. If you have specific questions about school operations or academic requirements, contacting your child's school administration is the most reliable way to receive accurate, localized information.

Always confirm on the official site before you register or pay.
